Role and Requirements
- Develop and produce detailed architectural plans and specifications
- Create comprehensive tender packages for projects
- Work both independently / collaboratively on projects from RIBA stages 1-6
- Attend and chair stakeholder / site / contractor meetings
- Liaising with clients, statutory bodies and contractors
- Assist Building Surveying department with tender packages
- Preparation and submission of Planning & Building Regulation applications
Experience
- Candidates must have stage 5 experience and confidence to be able to solve on-site technical queries
- Previous experience within (at least two of) the following sectors: Education, Commercial, Industrial, and Healthcare
- Hold a full, clean, UK driving licence (as travel throughout the UK to client sites is a part of this role)
- Good strong technical knowledge of construction methods
- Taking ownership of projects, managing resources and time from inception to completion
- Handling communication with clients and coordination of external consultants’ information
- Confident verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent team working skills and a positive, pro-active attitude
- Great organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate attention to detail in architectural planning and specifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK Planning & Building Regulations
- Proficient with AutoCAD / Revit
- Provide technical support to colleagues / team members
- Desirable – Producing 3D visualisations
- Desirable – NBS specification writing
