Role and Requirements

  • Develop and produce detailed architectural plans and specifications
  • Create comprehensive tender packages for projects
  • Work both independently / collaboratively on projects from RIBA stages 1-6
  • Attend and chair stakeholder / site / contractor meetings
  • Liaising with clients, statutory bodies and contractors
  • Assist Building Surveying department with tender packages
  • Preparation and submission of Planning & Building Regulation applications

Experience

  • Candidates must have stage 5 experience and confidence to be able to solve on-site technical queries
  • Previous experience within (at least two of) the following sectors: Education, Commercial, Industrial, and Healthcare
  • Hold a full, clean, UK driving licence (as travel throughout the UK to client sites is a part of this role)
  • Good strong technical knowledge of construction methods
  • Taking ownership of projects, managing resources and time from inception to completion
  • Handling communication with clients and coordination of external consultants’ information
  • Confident verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent team working skills and a positive, pro-active attitude
  • Great organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate attention to detail in architectural planning and specifications
  • Comprehensive knowledge of UK Planning & Building Regulations
  • Proficient with AutoCAD / Revit
  • Provide technical support to colleagues / team members
  • Desirable – Producing 3D visualisations
  • Desirable – NBS specification writing
