What are estate management services?
Estate management services provide support to public sector organisations through sourcing end to end property management sources. This can cover a range of property management requirements, such as public sector strategic advisory, agency and lease management, and valuation.
What are the benefits of estate management?
There are many advantages in utilising estate management for public sector bodies, including the following:
- Receiving better value for money due to competition
- Gaining access to a range of RICS qualified suppliers
- Understanding assets and developing maintenance plans which are in accordance with net zero targets as part of wider sustainability goals
- Accessing high quality standards, as 70% of the agreement is based on quality, with 30% based on pricing
What is Framework RM6168?
RM6168 gives public sector organisations access to a simplified means of sourcing end to end property management services, from consultancy to disposal. This agreement was developed by CCS to replace the earlier RM3816 Estates Professional Services agreement, to combine traditional estate management services with innovation and technology advancements, to create a ‘one stop shop’ solution. The new framework commences from the 21st August 2021 and will run for 3 years with the option for a 1 year extension.
