What is a measured survey?

A measured survey is the process of surveying and producing drawings including floor plans, section drawings, and elevations before beginning a construction project, whether small or large. Measurements from the survey are used to produce CAD drawings in the design stages. These surveys can range from scale and level of detail, with more complex surveys including details such as plumbing, electrical fittings and other specified information required.
