About Matthew

Matthew joined Eddisons in 1987 after completing a degree course in Urban Land Economics at Sheffield Polytechnic, and was elected as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1989, becoming a Director of Eddisons in 1998.

Matthew is jointly responsible for the Valuation Services department of Eddisons as a director, responsible for undertaking and overseeing valuation work for all purposes, including panel valuation work for all major UK lenders and asset valuation work for a series of private and public bodies.

The requirements of a broad range of clients in the public and private sectors are catered for, including Local Authorities, educational establishments, lending institutions including main high street banks, together with a wide range of private companies including SMEs and PLCs.

Valuation work is also undertaken for pension fund, matrimonial, tax and grant application purposes.

Geographically, Matthew’s work is concentrated on the north of the country, although client led instructions include work undertaken throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.
