Mark Searby

Mark Searby joined Eddisons in 2017 as a Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer. Specialising in the valuation of trade-related property, he works primarily across East Anglia and the East Midlands. Mark was made a Director in 2022, and now assists in overseeing trade-related valuation services across the country.

Mark provides a range of services and advice, primarily to all major UK lending institutions, in respect of a variety of specialist trading asset types, including but not limited to:

• Public houses

• Restaurants

• Hotels

• Care homes

• Pharmacies

• Dental practices

• Children’s day nurseries

• Petrol filling stations

• Garden centres

• Golf courses

Mark has valued a wide variety of assets within his specialist sectors over the years, including some historically significant landmark hotels, and enjoys being part of the process of helping business owners to refinance and expand.

As well as being a Chartered Surveyor, Mark oversees the in-house training and development of the trading team and, outside of work, can often be found attending motorsport events.
