About Lydia
Lydia Pravin joined Eddisons in January 2024 as Associate Planning Director. She is primarily based in the Eddisons Peterborough office and also works in the Cambridge and Huntingdon offices each week providing planning advice across the East of England. Lydia has previous experience at South Cambridgeshire District Council where she worked as a Senior Planning Officer in Development Management.
Lydia provides a range of planning services to clients and has experience in project managing and negotiating planning applications, ranging from commercial to residential development including rural diversification projects through the planning system. She has experience in preparing Planning, Design and Access Statements to assist planning applications, provides planning and development appraisals identifying opportunities and promotes land for development through the Local Plan process.
As well as being a Chartered Town Planner, member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI), Lydia has an MSc in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Birmingham and a BA (Hons) in Geography from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth University.
