Julian Welch

Julian Welch is a Director in the Agency team in our Peterborough office. He joined Eddisons in 2019 following the acquisition of Barker Storey Matthews and has worked in the Peterborough office for 13 years.

Julian acts in a commercial property agency capacity including acquisitions, disposals and general consultancy for a wide variety of investment funds, property companies, private individuals, local authorities and other statutory bodies. With over 32 years experience in the commercial property markets, 21 of which are in the Peterborough and Cambridgeshire market as well as offering retail property expertise on a national basis, Julian is recognised as one leading agents in the region and was awarded ‘Most Active Agent – Cambridgeshire’ by the Estates Gazette in 2023 based upon the number of transactions completed.

He has been instrumental in dealing with a number of high profile disposals and acquisitions across the Peterborough area recently including: the sale of a 67,000 sq ft former University building on behalf of Anglian Ruskin University; the acquisition of a 15,000 sq ft headquarters building for Allison Homes; and the sale of a 62,000 sq ft former headquarters building for Peterborough City Council. If you were to eat from a Subway restaurant anywhere in East Anglia, the Home Counties, or the South-East, it is likely that Julian played a part – he has acquired over 200 sites for the brand.
