Stone Hall Mill fits the bill for Wow Lifestyle
We’re thrilled to see our client keep their business in Bradford as they expand with a new location for their HQ.
Wow Lifestyle, a bed and mattress manufacturer, has relocated its factory space within the city – with help from Matt Jennings and the Bradford team as joint agent with Sharma Williamson.
Employing 22 people, managing director Darren Stega-Jones made the decision to relocate from the 20,000 sq. ft. premises in Wyke Mills to the 36,500 sq. ft. Stone Hall Mill in Eccleshill.
Built in 1850, Stone Hall Mill was initially used as a woollen mill. After a spot of refurbishment and renovation, Wow Lifestyle is set to continue their successful creation of beds and mattresses for hospitality giants such as Butlins, Haven Holidays, and Parkdean Resorts, as well as Scape student accommodation suppliers.
Darren explained the move and his plans for the future: “We were really keen to stay in Bradford after 15 years in the city. Having our own larger building means we can put down more permanent roots and will enable us to invest in sustainability and to switch to using renewable energy.”
Eddisons’ Bradford team handled the sale of Stone Hall Mill, marketed at a £1m guide price.
Associate Director Matt Jennings added: “There has been a strong uptick in demand for large, high quality warehouse space, both here in Bradford and in the wider market, in recent years and that buoyancy is showing no signs of decreasing.
“Strategically located units like Stone Hall Mill, which is on a 1.3 acre site and has easy access to the motorway network, are always highly sought after and we were able to sell this property very rapidly.”
Commenting on Bradford’s recent rise in popularity, Matt said: “Wow is yet another great example of a flourishing Bradford business that is providing jobs for local people and helping to boost the city’s economy.”
