Eddisons’ agency sales and lettings success at Oakwood Business Park in Sawtry, Cambridgeshire since the beginning of the year has set the scene for the next phase of units released this autumn at the development.
As the sole agent under instruction at Oakwood Business Park, Eddisons has confirmed the availability of Units 14-17 in this phase - with Unit 18 already under offer.
These offer high specification new build units, with allocated parking, starting at 3,595 sq ft of accommodation but with scope for up to 19,709 sq ft in combining unit space.
The units are of steel portal frame construction and an eaves height of just under 8 metres, with a ridge height of 9.8 metres, approximately. They have an up and over sectional door giving access to the main factory/warehouse area.
Units 14-18 have been designed with first floor windows to allow for the installation of first floor offices, subject to build stage.
Oakwood Business Park is on Old Great North Road in Sawtry, adjacent to the A1(M). It is seven miles from the Park to the A14, with Peterborough eight miles, Huntingdon 8.5 miles and St Neots 16 miles away.
Screwfix was one of the first occupiers the previous phase of the development, leasing over 4,000 sq ft at the beginning of the year.
Commenting on the launch of the latest phase of Oakwood Business Park this autumn, Matthew Hunt, who has led the firm’s agency at the development from the beginning, said, “The business park is in a key transport location, particularly for those occupiers where logistics and access to the A1(M) is vital and where there haven’t been many new-build opportunities for business units of this size.
“Based on the swift take-up this year on the previous phase, we anticipate securing strong interest in the units this autumn.”
