Former Felixstowe Police station and Annexe sold for residential redevelopment
The freehold of the former police station in Felixstowe has been sold through the agency of Eddisons for residential redevelopment.
Approximately 26 new homes are due to be built utilising the existing former main police station building and adjoining annexe.
Eddisons acted as the sole agent on behalf of the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) for Suffolk to market the freehold of the 1930’s two storey premises comprising the former Constabulary building, 1970’s Glenfield Court annexe and garages to the rear on a 0.61 acre site at 33 High Road West.
The sale completed in December 2021 for an undisclosed price following extensive delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Felixstowe Police have relocated to a share joint premises with the Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service at the Felixstowe fire station on the opposite side of the road in High Road West.
