We recently helped to sell this piece of Bradfordian history to a buyer with a plan to turn what was once a buzzing hub for business into something special again.
What once was Bradford Chamber of Commerce is now a high-spec office space that still boasts original stonemasonry and features dating from 1929, when the man who later became King Edward VIII officially opened the building.
Entering from the front, the tiled stairwell leads to all upper floors with the passenger lift stopping at all floors including the basement. The storeys consist of open plan areas that are fantastic for team working, as well as more secluded options for meetings and private discussions.
The word Cheapside is derived from an Old English term meaning ‘marketplace’, and this seven-storey building couldn’t be more in the centre of Bradford if it tried.
And with great transport links and fantastic amenities nearby, including Broadway shopping centre and the soon-to-be-opened Darley Street Market, the new occupiers have found a great spot for their enterprise.
