Eddisons helps rapid relief charity secure new premises
Eddisons Huntingdon Agency team has secured new premises for a rapid relief and crisis support charity in St Neots.
Rapid Relief Team has moved into the 10,705 sq ft unit at 24 Little End Road, a popular location in Eaton Socon within easy reach of the A1/A428.
The detached warehouse unit provides a large factory area and workshop together with ground and first floor office accommodation, a generous yard and parking.
Speaking about the sale, Bob Jay, UK Director of Operations at Rapid Relief Team, commented, “Inspired by community spirit and the gift of giving, the Rapid Relief Team (RRT) serves people with care and compassion in their time of need. Established by the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church (PBCC) in 2013, RRT offers quality catering assistance and tangible support to charities, government and emergency services confronting some of humankind’s greatest challenges. From supporting refugees fleeing warzones to ensuring hunger isn’t a barrier to education, RRT expands its support services to meet the crisis at hand.
“RRT is looking to start renovating the property to suit the charity's needs and looks forward to occupation soon. RRT appreciates the cooperation of Eddisons throughout the process and their support in liaising with the tenants and vendor to suit our completion date.”
Agent on the property Matthew Hunt added, “We received great levels of interest from both purchasers and tenants from across the region looking to expand and/or relocate to St Neots. This is due to the geography of the area being appealing to businesses for logistical reasons together with recruitment prospects.”
Eddisons was the sole agent acting for the vendor in the sale of the freehold.
