Compass Points to HQ purchase in Cambs growth corridor

10/02/2025

News

Our Huntingdon team has just launched a headquarters-level office building in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, that will go on the market at £950,000 this April.

Speke House on Compass Point Business Park is a detached, two-storey property of 6,966 sq ft on a 0.37 acre site. The current office accommodation is fitted-out in a mix of open plan & small office layouts, training & meeting rooms, a staff room, cloakrooms and kitchen facilities, plus a lift to the first floor.

Compass Point Business Park is an established commercial location on the Cambridge side of the market town of St Ives. The park is home to a range of office-style occupiers in stand-alone business sectors as well as complementary professional service sectors.

The business park is a short distance from St Ives town centre, which has a mix of national & independent retailers, cafés and regular street markets. Alongside the park, there are a series of food and beverage stores and a Tesco Express, with Aldi and Morrisons supermarkets also available.

St Ives is an expanding market town in the Cambridge-to-Huntingdon growth corridor. The town has a dedicated park & ride facility as a stop on the county’s guided bus system which connects Huntingdon with Cambridge - both of which have railway stations with train links to key London terminals - and stop-offs in popular commuter villages, plus the new town of Northstowe - as it heads towards Cambridge city centre.

From Compass Point Business Park, there is straightforward access to the A14 and ventures southwards to the M11/A1, north to the A1(M), and northwest to the M6.

Included in the long leasehold sale of Speke House is a 32-space car park, plus two EV charging points at the side of the building.

According to Huntingdon director Stephen Power, who is leading the sale, Speke House would suit owner-occupiers or property investment interests, both of whom see the attraction of good links to Cambridge, but also the benefits of good road access across the wider region for recruitment and retention purposes, or in the serving of customer bases.

Viewing of Speke House, Compass Point Business Park, St Ives is strictly by appointment only through Eddisons as the sole agent.

For more information or to arrange a viewing, contact Stephen Power on 01480 45178 or on stephen.power@eddisons.com.
