Beating those holiday blues with some great sales!
With summer well and truly over, we've been keeping ourselves busy with our auctions. It's been the usual bag of unusual lots, stretching across the country.
Our property auctions division comprise Pugh & Co, Mark Jenkinson, and SDL Property Auctions, serving the country as committed and dedicated auctioneers.
Across September, we were able to shift 189 lots, making £33m in sales.

One of the nicest commercial buildings we've seen in a while, this charming detached property currently receives £14,000 a year in rent.
A perfect spot for a business connected to the nearby industrial sector, this could also be converted back into a residential house.
With a reserve of £100,000, 207 Cutler Heights Lane was finally sold for £237,000.

Originally used by the Royal Observers Corp, this nuclear bunker dates back to the 1950s, as one of 1500 that were built in preparation for a nuclear attack.

One of the more high-profile properties on our roster, we were able to secure a sale of the town of Cheadle's marketplace.

We were thrilled to see this former bank smash our expectations!
The original features and multiple opportunities to convert made this property a highly sought after lot, and so was guided at a reasonable £225,000.
However, interest was high and we ended up securing £150,000 over the estimation.
