Reading Borough Council

Development viability, master planning & procurement advice

Project

Eddisons were appointed in the Autumn of 2022 to provide strategic advice in bringing forward the Minster Quarter Scheme which is a gateway site in the town centre with a GDV of £220million.

Approach

Eddisons provided viability advice and oversaw the creation of a new master plan for the site that would be attractive to the developer market. This has successfully led to the launch of a procurement competition to bring forward this major residential led development scheme.

Results

Eddisons is overseeing the procurement process involving Restrictive Procedure with Negotiation.
