Banks Long & Co were instructed by a long-standing private investor client of the firms to undertake a valuation of a portfolio of 24 Trade Counter Units located throughout the South and East of the Country. The valuation was required for taxation purposes.
Approach
Through our detailed knowledge and understanding of the Trade Counter Sector across the country we were able to undertake the valuation of this portfolio for our clients, bringing into play our experience gained through acquiring and disposing of a number of similar investments in locations across the Country. This meant we were able to provide our client with a detailed and thorough report for each of the properties within the portfolio with a total value of just under £13.5 million.
Results
The ability for the valuation team to access the market knowledge of their colleagues in the Agency division of The Firm, meant they were able to produce a detailed and 'market driven' report, reflecting the strong performance over the past few years within that particular sector of the market. This once again underlines the wide breadth of experience and market knowledge that is available across the various divisions at Banks Long & Co, which through the strong teamwork that we promote throughout the business, is used to ensure that we provide the best up to date market advice to all our clients.
