Prestwich

Planning application for KFC

Project

Eddisons Transport Planning and Highway Design team provided highways advice to support a planning application for a KFC drive through restaurant in Prestwich, Bury.

Approach

Located along a busy arterial route, careful consideration was required to ensure the access design did not adversely impact upon the through-flow of traffic. Further advice was provided to discharge highways related conditions following approval, including the preparation of a Service Management Plan.

Results

As a result of our highways advice, Bury planning committee granted permission for the Prestwich KFC development.
