Kirkby Town Centre Kirkby

Kirkby Town Centre Regeneration

Project

St. Modwen's proposed plans for Kirkby Town Centre includes a supermarket, a range of new shops, improved pedestrian links and car parking.  Eddisons were appointed by St. Modwen to advise on the transport and planning aspects.

Approach

Our work involved a bespoke movement strategy for the town centre incorporating new retail units and car parking as well as creating a number of new access points into the town centre area and weaving these into the existing market area and the links from the existing retail and residential elements within and on the periphery of the town centre.

Results

St. Modwen successfully secured planning permission from Knowsley Council’s planning committee.
