Eddisons, a leading national firm of Chartered Surveyors and Auctioneers, has attracted 25 lots for its first London auction of the year, on March 7th.

Lots include commercial and residential investments, vacant commercial and residential buildings, land and ground rent investments throughout the UK. Guide prices range from £35,000 up to £1.8m plus.

Instructions have been received from administrators, receivers, trustees and local authorities, as well as property companies and private investors.

Simon Bailey, Director and Auctioneer at Eddisons said: ‘The catalogue provides a choice of options for buyers seeking either income streams or asset management opportunities.

‘I fully expect the encouraging signs of growth in the auction market at the end of last year to continue in 2013 and look forward to a busy sale to start our auction year.’

Among the lots is a commercial investment property in Luton town centre, part let to bookmakers BetFred, generating £62,500 per annum. The guide price is £900,000 plus.

Elsewhere, a freehold industrial investment in Banbury, Oxfordshire, which generates income of £222,000 per annum is guided at £1.8m to £1.9m.

Thomas House and Unicorn House on the Beaumont Road Industrial Estate extend to over 40,000 sq ft, on a site of approximately 1.49 acres.

This is the first of five London auctions Eddisons has scheduled for 2013, following their inaugural sale in the capital last autumn.

The firm also stages 16 auctions annually in Leeds and Manchester and sales in Ireland.

The London sale takes place on March 7th at Le Meridien Hotel, 21 Piccadilly, London W1, starting at 12.30pm.
