Stephen Hawkins

Stephen joined Eddisons as a Partner in 2019, following Eddisons acquisition of Barker Storey Matthews. He has 40 years’ experience in the commercial property markets, particularly active in the Peterborough and Cambridgeshire market with additional investment experience on a regional and national basis.

Stephen acts in an investment and agency capacity including acquisitions, disposals and asset management for a wide variety of pension and investment funds, property companies and high net worth individuals.

Stephen has been involved in numerous transactions with the various roles he has held since the early 1980’s with development experience starting with Peterborough Development Corporation dealing with both local retail centres and then commercial buildings focused mainly on the office sector.  After a brief spell in London with a US backed investment and development company, he joined Prudential before forming Barker Storey Matthews with a number of fellow directors at the end of 1990 where he was a director then Managing director for 6 years up until 2019 when he oversaw the sale of the business to Eddisons.
