Eddisons instructed to sell The Rosery Country House Hotel and Restaurant

Eddisons, along with its business transfer division Ernest Wilson, has been appointed to find a buyer for The Rosery Country House Hotel and Restaurant located in Exning, Newmarket.

Dating back to the 1800s and steeped in history with royal visitors including Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth, the hotel is a converted Victorian manor house that has been added to over the years whilst retaining much of its historical character. Comprising 16 bedrooms, the accommodation includes a principal building together with a separate coach house and garden rooms. Externally, there is a large patio area, mature gardens and a private car park for staff and guests.

With an array of facilities such as a large dining room and function rooms, along with a well fitted commercial kitchen, The Rosery Country House Hotel and Restaurant is an ideal venue for corporate events, private events and weddings.

The west Suffolk village of Exning is less than two miles from Newmarket, a town which is well known for its international reputation as the headquarters of British horseracing and breeding. The location also offers great links throughout Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

Offers are invited for the freehold with either a company or asset sale being considered, with viewing strictly by appointment only.

Ben Green, Director at Eddisons, comments:
"The Rosery offers an excellent opportunity for an investor or hotelier to take on an established and profitable business with significant trading potential. The substantial building and large mature grounds offer further development potential, subject to planning."

Paul Williamson, Managing Director at Ernest Wilson, comments:
"This is an exciting opportunity for a new owner to acquire this superb hotel and restaurant which trades on an impressive reputation and given it’s location one which could easily become a destination hotel in its own right."
