In August 2020, NHS Property Services Limited launched an OJEU competition for a National Contract to appoint a Lease Events Partner, to deliver volume lease advisory work (landlord and tenant) and letting services across its property portfolio of over 4,000 properties, worth in the region of £3 billion.
Approach
Eddisons were subsequently appointed in April 2021 on a 3 year contract plus 1 year. Over the last year we have transacted over 200 instructions comprising of:
- Rent reviews
- Acquisition of new site
- Lease renewals
- New lettings of vacant space.
We have also provided strategic consultancy advice in areas such as:
- PFI
- Service charge management
- Portfolio diagnostic and Workplace Strategy
- Options Appraisal
- Site searches
Results
We have generated millions of pounds in savings over the past 18 months of the contract commencement. As strategic advisors with knowledge of local markets and future opportunities, we were able to provide an appropriate level of challenge and analysis.
