Public sector valuation of five administrative buildings

Project

Eddisons were instructed to complete a valuation of five administrative buildings in a busy town centre. The buildings required valuing as they hadn’t been for many years and in previous years had suffered a substantial loss as the building was underinsured.

Approach

Eddisons RICS registered valuers arranged a site visit, put a plan in place and surveyed the public sector administrative buildings. Site layout, building floor areas, age description and various measurements and features of the building were taken in to account for the valuation. Analytical reports were produced for the owners of the property where specific recommendations made.

Results

A detailed valuation report was provided for each of the administrative buildings. In addition separate reports were produced as asked for by the insurance executive to present to the various stakeholders. The client was also provided with current advice on the reinstatement values for the buildings.
