Job Overview

Eddison’s is an established multi-disciplinary commercial property practice with a growing team of 500 staff and a network of 30 offices located in key towns and cities across the UK. We are looking for a creative and self-motivated Bid Writer/Senior Bid Writer to join our vibrant and friendly team, working closely with the Head of Bids and senior stakeholders across the business to ensure compliant and compelling bid submissions that will continue to build upon our successes. This includes securing Eddison’s position on a number of high-profile frameworks (CCS, ESPO, Homes England, etc) alongside a growing portfolio of contract wins across a variety of service lines. 

Job Description/Person Profile

  • Manage the end-to-end bid process from identification of opportunities through to submission
  • Excellent writing skills (ideally obtained within a similar role) with the ability to create and develop new content
  • A flexible ‘can do’ attitude
  • Super organised to effectively manage multiple tasks/deadlines, with great time management skills
  • The confidence to liaise with senior stakeholders (internal and external) for their input
  • Completion of due diligence and supplier questionnaires
  • Supporting the Head of Bids to work on strategic projects that continue to develop the bid function and improve the support provided to the wider business
  • Updating content in the Bid Library
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc)
  • Exceptional attention to detail is essential
