Sottariva IBT4-2 VEL AUT 2005 Mixer and Sottariva bowl lifter SC/3 s/n20361 max lifting weight 400kg. 3 spare mixing bowls. The mix consisted of 55% Crumb, 30% Syrup and 15% various additives. Dry mix in mixer with warm syrup poured in gradually and mixed for 4 mins. Each mix approx. 40kg to make 800/900 bars taking 40 minutes to process. 2.4m tipping heioght. Gantry size 4m x 3.8m x 2.2m tall
Once lifted, mixture would be poured into a Bafag heated hopper and into the Kibbler which flattens and squares the mix in the Fritsch APJ 200/450 sheeter and then under the 2 rollers. First one set to 22mm and second to 12mm. Both range from 0 to 60mm.
Product would then go into a Bafag cooling tunnel approx. 11m long at a temperature of between 6 and 8 degrees.
Product would then go through the slitters (splitting the product into 14 strips, 25mm), along the spreader chains and through the adjustable guillotine.
Another Bafag (8.5m long) tunnel will bring the finished product up to an ambient temperature ready for packing.
Sogem retractable conveyor, transfer conveyor, corner conveyor, product straightening conveyor, single file conveyor before it goes into the flowrapper. Currently set at 135 bars p/m but max is 174 p/m. set up as cold seal but can do hot seal. Markem printer. All 2006.
Safeline Metal Detector and Ishida Check Weigher.
No min /max size of product but you would have to buy different size slitter rollers and lining grids after the spreading chains.
Total length was 33m from mix loader to the retractable table. And 12m back to the flowrapper. Width being 5m. Add to that, the metal detector/check weigher, any packing machines you’d want plus the 2 tanks, a boiler , the mixer and a/c units for the cooling tunnel space required is approximately 45m x 15m.
