HOT MILL no1

A composite well maintained hot mill, mainly manufactured by Pomini, Faim & Danieli. Feed stock 140 x 140 x 2150mm Billets. Sturdy natural gas fired reheat furnace (15tph capacity) 450mm roughing stand; 420mm 3 Hi roughing stand; stand A, horizontal roll stand with 2 cassettes; stand B vertical mill stand with 2 cassettes; Endorel Downtrain control pulpit with speed control/cascade system; stands 1-5 horizontal mill stands; stand 6 vertical; stand 7-8 crosstrain horizontal incorporating 2 x repeat; stand 9 horizontal finishing; stand 10 vertical finishing; stand 11 horizontal finishing; pre cooling bed rotary chopper; walking beam indexed cooling bed; cut to length shear; 5T cantilever crane; automated bundling station.

All available spares including rolls, ac & dc motors, control cabinets drives, compressors etc.

HOT MILL No 2

A specialist merchant bar mill producing very high quality product from coiled rod feed stock (6.5mm – 17mm dia). This superb little mill requires only two operatives and uses electric induction to heat the rod for processing. It briefly comprises of the following;

              - 2 x payoff beams for rod coil

              - Butt welding station; bar straightener / leveller

               -Induction heater; resistance heater

              - In line rotary cobble shear

              - 3 Mill stands (H,V,H) 2 with ac motors

              - In line cut to length rotary shear

              -Chain cooling bed & stacking/bundling station

              - Control cabinet & desks, Associated motor drives etc;

All available spares, consumables including rolls, drawings and technical documentation.
